We invite you to the Annual Meeting of the Membership of Center for Spiritual Living, Greater Las Vegas, and we welcome your active participation as a member. The agenda for the meeting includes the election of candidates to the Leadership Council, ratification of Bylaw changes, a Financial Report, a “State of the Center” message, and a look ahead.

 

Included with this notice are the written minutes of last year’s Annual Meeting and a copy of the proposed Bylaw amendments. Voting to approve all items will occur via an electronic ballot. The bylaw amendments relate to:

• the change of our principal office/address

• conducting our affairs/operations virtually

• mission statement

• number of members on the leadership council

• the removal of the need for a corporate seal

• terminology changes

 

If you have any corrections to the 2020 minutes, please submit them in writing to council@cslglv.org no later than Friday, September 10, 2021. The slate of Leadership Council candidates will be announced via email, on our website, and during Sunday service announcements in the weeks prior to the Annual Meeting.

 

We do allow for absentee voting. As that rule dictates, there are “valid reasons” for missing the Annual Meeting. If any of these reasons apply to you, email council@cslglv.org to request an absentee ballot and instructions for completing and returning the ballot:

 

1. Scheduled to work

2. Planned vacation or other travel out of town

3. Medical procedure and/or recuperation

 

The ballot must be received by the council no later than Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time in order to be valid for the election.

Meeting Place: The Annual Meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.  Member check-in begins at 11:00 AM Pacific.  We encourage you to log-in at 11:00 AM and wait patiently during the check-in process.

A direct link will also be emailed to you and posted on the home page of our website at cslglv.org.

 

If you do not have a device with a camera, you may email council@cslglv.org for join-by-phone instructions.

 

Voting: Electronic voting will occur the same day starting immediately after the meeting and voting will be open until 3:00 PM Pacific time.

 

Voting will close at 3:00 PM Pacific. No late ballots will be accepted. All votes will be submitted and reported to the final voting numbers.

 

Procedures: In accordance with the Center for Spiritual Living Greater Las Vegas Bylaws, the voting for this Annual Meeting will be held via electronic ballot.  You will receive a voting link sent to the email address on file with CSLGLV.
